1908 Cleveland Baseball Club Ringer T-Shirt
Product Details
Contrast trim on the collar and sleeves didn't start with t-shirts. It started on the ball field, where clubs used piping and colored trim to be told apart from the cheap seats. Read the full story about where this vintage design comes from.
1908 Cleveland Baseball Club Ringer T-Shirt
The wordmark is set in typography lifted from a genuine 1908 Cleveland Press scorecard — hand-set in ink, printed to be thrown away that same afternoon. At 4.3 oz this is the lightest tee in the 1908 line, cut for July rather than October, with 1×1 baby rib binding at the neck and sleeves doing the work a ringer is supposed to do. Pick your thread color on the side emblem.
